Cookies of Lunigiana with an ancient secret recipe

The Amor are typical biscuits Lunigiana traditional pastries, only by a few of Pontremoli respecting the traditional recipe and flavor that has been handed down for generations.

The origins of these cookies are traced back to the Napoleonic era, between the 18th and 19th centuries, when many Swiss families arrived in Lunigiana and in Piazza della Repubblica in Pontremoli by opening workshops that produced this specialty

The preparation of Love is very special, and the many ingredients that compose it make unique and unmistakable taste decided. The recipe remains secret, but something about his delicacy was leaked over the years, so much to find that the cream that surrounds the wafer is mixed with a particular mixture of butter and cognac.
