Rignano, located South-East of Florence, lies on the banks of the River Arno. The village comes alive every year, in July and August for the feast of pardon, typical manifestation of the whole area of Valdarno.
San Godenzo is a town in the province of Florence and is located northeast of Pontassieve, the largest town nearby. The town is part of the National Park of the casentino forests, mount Falterona and Campigna.
