Delicate taste and soft texture

Mugello Potato is a tuber originating from the fertile countryside of Tuscany. This product has a taste so mild, to be called "Il Fiore del Mugello". The ancient origins of the potato in this area date back to the famine of 1817, when his production was strongly encouraged in an attempt to resolve the problem of hunger in the countryside.

The potatoes produced in Mugello are white, yellow, and Red. White potato of Firenzuola, is cultivated by a few small local companies, increasingly, respecting tradition. This product has always approached the "Tortello del Mugello", a real must increasingly popular protagonist of events and festivals. Its soft texture, mingled with delicate flavor that you perceive eating it, is today the basis of stuffing homemade pasta.
