Gaia Red Wine 2017 is a Tuscany IGT from 100% Merlot grapes. An unfiltered wine that is born in the rolling hills of Pisa by means of a hand-held harvest, followed by a winemaking in small stainless steel containers and a maceration on the skins of 15 days.

Vinification and refining

Gaia 2017 wine is produced at a fermentation temperature managed according to the level of maturation of the uv, in order to allow the extraction of the aromatic component and to allow the controlled extraction of tannins and color. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation the wine is stored in 225 litre French barriques.

The wine was not filtered, clarified and did not suffer any wine practice.

Description of wine

Gaia wine is presented with an excellent intense color, the nose stands out intense notes of ripe cherry and blueberry well integrated with intriguing aromas of candied fruit and sweet spices. On the palate the wine is soft, balanced and persistent.
