The Amelia 2017 Red Wine is a Tuscany IGT produced with grapes 100% Cabernet Franc from a plot of just over 3000 meters located in Fauglia, in the heart of the Pisa hills.

Vinification and refining

Amelia 2017 wine is hand-harvested in crates and wineted in small stainless steel containers. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation the wine is rested in 225 litre French barriques.

The biological practices adopted, the low yields of the plant, and the careful selection of grapes harvested in harvest, have created an interesting wine, rich in scents and palate of good structure and persistence. "Amelia" 2017 is best appreciated served at 18-20 degrees Celsius.

The wine was not filtered, clarified without having undergone wine practice.

Description of wine

Amelia wine has a very intense ruby red color with an excellent expression and aromatic complexity: the nose stands out intense notes of plum jam and ripe dark fruit such as blackberry, blueberry and blackcurrant. Perfectly integrated the aromas of chocolate and liquorice.

On the palate the wine is harmonious, with an excellent and balanced structure; and a roundness and sweetness of the tannins that make it compact, elegant, with an extremely long finish with a very persistent spicy aftertaste.
