Woodworking of Montalbano

An ancient tradition that has made Quarrata the "City of forniture"

Woodworking has ancient origins, but it was the transition from the agricultural to the artisan culture of the 1920s to mark the territory of Montalbano.

The woodwork was perfected, focusing on the production of high-quality furniture with the small company Lenzi, specialized in Ottoman craftsmanship.

Attention to detail, passion, love and dedication towards the handicrafts made in Tuscany have engraved on a super production, continued over the years, passed down from generation to generation.

The increase of activities related to the processing of this material has created over time a true artisan tradition which affected the furniture sector, symbol of Quarrata. Specialized workshops have graced the streets of town, keeping the old world charm of a craft valuable recognized worldwide.

Today the Tuscan wood crafts is quality and respect for traditional techniques of processing. This is demonstrated of it the finest of cutters of master craftsmen; but mainly development, design and careful selection of fine woods.
