Nativity scene in Equi Terme

A path on the streets of the village waiting for Christmas

The Nativity scene of Equi Terme, near Fivizzano, is a reenactment of the birth of baby Jesus; lasts four days and takes place in this small town at Christmas time. Unique, the event allows you to cross the streets greeted by actors who engage in chanting and ancient representations.

This event is the best way to get involved by the magic of Christmas and to immerse themselves in a picturesque setting. The illuminated streets of the village, beautiful at sunset, are animated by locals who play the characters of the Nativity.

During the Nativity scene of Equi Terme you can also stay in taverns serving the typical dishes of the Lunigiana and browse the shops turned into workshops with the artisans that propose trades a tempor . A blast from the past, where with the re-enactment of the Nativity scene are enhanced the characteristic features of this ancient village. The living Nativity parade starts from the town. After crossing the whole country will come to the shore of the river Give to end inside the lovely Equi Terme caves.
