Lucca Comics

Art, entertainment and animation in Europe's largest comic book festival

Lucca Comics is the international festival of comics, illustration, game and animation cinema in Europe and the second largest in the world, which takes place every year between October and November in Lucca. A must for all fans of the fantasy genre and not only, which allows you to attend shows and exhibitions truly unique in their kind.

Born in 1966 as a party devoted to the steam, the Lucca Comics becomes a world renowned event since 1993 involving the entire city and managing to grow exponentially much to boast of over 500,000 people in recent years.

For this fascinating festival focuses in the historical center of Lucca many colorful events involving international artists connected to the art. Lucca Comics is also a unique opportunity to learn about video game and animation experts with whom you can discuss; It can happen to meet the cartoonist Milo Manara or Robert Kirkman, Creator of the comic book saga The Walking Dead.

There are also stands to buy home decor collectibles, action figures and real Cosplays parades that make the whole event a hybrid between art and entertainment. A festive setting for the entire city of Lucca, which can make it really special for all fans the event linked to Europe's most important games.
