Cooperativa Agricola Pomonte was founded in the years '50 from different farmers and ranchers.

The central structure of Pomonte is enlarged over the years and has a center of cereal storage including refrigeration. In the years ' 90 the cooperative decides to handle the grocers and in 2006 opened the new store where it is emphasized to local products, especially beef and salami.

In 2008 he was also created a new mill within walking distance from the operative Centre of Pomonte. The mill, which has also obtained organic certification, engages in the careful selection of olives in order to offer a high quality extra virgin olive oil. In addition, the cold extraction ensures the preservation of the organoleptic properties of the product. The extra virgin olive oil produced here has a fruity flavor and a pleasantly almondy with bitterness and pungency are present.

As for the flesh is to underline the high quality and traceability that characterizes it. Animals are bred by cooperative members with great care and attention to food.

• Casalingo salami classico, with wild boar or with fennel. Seasoning 60 days;
• Homemade Sausage, sweet or spicy sausage produced with artisan process from pork grown exclusively in Maremma. Seasoning 60 days;
• Extra virgin olive oil cold pressed;
• Beef, meat from the farms of the partners in the Tuscan Maremma;
• Florentine steak, high cut of meat including bones from beef cattle reared exclusively in Maremma.

The agricultural cooperative Pomonte has three outlets very provided in Grosseto, in the municipalities of Scansano, Santa Caterina and in the village of Pomonte. Here you can find, in addition to gastronomic delights even the hospitality typical of the Maremma and its people.
