The warmth of a family and the genuineness of a farm are the essence of La Lodola period residence. It is immersed in the heart of the Val di Chiana, where you can still breathe the genuine and typically Tuscan atmosphere.

The owners Beatrice and Mario dedicated themselves with all their energy in the restoration of the late eighteenth-century farmhouse, where, with their love, they raised their three children, Anna, Paolo and Carlo. Over time, the two spouses decided to open the doors of the old farmhouse to tourists. The Villa has always been a place for parties and dinners to meet with friends, this warm and familiar atmosphere is perceived every day by the guests of the structure.

Ideas and creativity within this family are not lacking. The son Carlo, Chef of Osteria La Lodola, was conquered by the raw materials of these lands and followed his vocation for the kitchen. Paolo together with his wife Silvia has created a company for the creative development of bags, accessories and design items. While the daughter Anna has followed the taste and passion for what is the age of the mother.

Beatrice together with her son Paolo, architect and designer, have taken care of every single detail of the interior to make La Lodola a relaxing oasis with a refined taste. Each piece of furniture blends perfectly with the colors and colors of walls and fabrics. Thanks to the meticulous work done, today La Lodola is a structural wonder and an interior masterpiece.

Warm hospitality, attention to comfort and the surrounding Tuscan countryside make La Lodola one of the most authentic period residences in Tuscany.

The philosophy of La Lodola

The genuineness first of all. Starting from breakfast with jams, homemade cakes and freshly picked fruit in the garden, everything is intimately natural and produced with extreme love. This refined tradition is dedicated to Mario, who dedicates his body and soul to the care of the garden. What characterizes La Lodola is the welcome, thanks to the warmth that know how to spread Mario, Carlo and Manuela, the wife of the Chef.

The Agricultural Company and the transformation of the products in the Laboratory

La Lodola is also and above all a valuable Azienda Agricola, a real organic farm that uses its products for the preparation of the Osteria's dishes. The raw materials of the garden are transformed in the new laboratory born in 2013 with the idea of expanding the farm. Three kilometers from the Villa there is the laboratory for the transformation of agricultural products, the professional kitchen, the exhibition space and the space for events in a continuum with the surrounding nature.
