Terranuova Bracciolini is located in the Aretino.

The plan of the village presents a symmetrical structure, typical of the "terre nuove Florence" inspired by the designs of Arnolfo di Cambio, where it develops a central square. Going through the village you can still breathe the charm, and inside the old town you can find many historic buildings, including the "Chiesa di San Bartolomeo al Pozzo" and the "Chiesa di San Biagio ai Mori".

 

Traditions

The "Festa del Perdono" back to 1615 is the main exhibition of Valdarno and the oldest. It is held every year on the fourth weekend of September and at the end it is traditional to conclude with the typical "Fiera degli Uccelli".

Specialties include offering the cuisine of Tuscany, Terranuova Bracciolini is famous for the production of different types of cheese, mild flavor and you can taste the honey that is produced by the beekeepers in the surrounding area. The production of this cheese focuses primarily on three extraordinary cheeses that vary depending on seasoning. All products from local dairies in respect of traditions and handwork.
