La Versiliana is the event that accompanies for nearly forty years the summer of Marina di Pietrasanta. A festival where art, culture and entertainment come together to create one of the most important events in Tuscany.
The event takes place every year from July to August, and accompanies summer in Versilia for over a month in a festive atmosphere where big names in entertainment alternate representations for the younger ones and to theatrical performances.
The locations are those which have hosted big names of Italian science, by Margherita Hach to Rita Levi Montalcini, passing by who has left an indelible mark in journalism and in literary history: Enzo Biagi, Ungaretti, Montale and Ungaretti.
Among these the Teatro Grande and the Caffè della Versiliana, unique places that bring back to memory Gabriele D'Annunzio, who here Panda inspiration for la Pioggia nel pineto during his stay in Villa la Versiliana.
A summer of entertainment including concerts, musicals, comedy shows, which alternate every year to offer a festive atmosphere in one of the most popular tourists areas of Tuscany.
