La Scuola del Cuoio is a company with more than 60 years of history, dedicated to the realization of prestigious leather goods, situated in the heart of Florence, in Piazza Santa Croce.

It was created after World War II thanks to the collaboration of the Franciscan friars of the monastery of Santa Croce, who wanted to teach a craft to the orphans of the ' Boys Town ' of Pisa and of families Gori and Casini, Masters Florentine leather artisans since the years ' 30.

The leather School of Florence, was born in a strategic location along the banks of the River Arno, where focused businesses that needed large amounts of water.
