In Riotorto, fraction of the commune of Piombino, from 20 April to 1 may 2018 held the traditional Sagra del Carciofo.
The artichoke will be the undisputed star of the menu with local products and excellent wines of the Val di Cornia DOC. The event takes place at the Municipal Park La Pinetina, on holidays it will be possible to taste the many dishes prepared on the stands for lunch and dinner, at 12 a.m. and 07 p.m. Weekdays from 07 a.m. onwards.
