Tuscany and climbing

Check out all the walls where you can climb

Tuscany is one of the most famous in the world for its beautiful landscapes, its medieval villages and its rich artistic legacy, but not only ...

Within this scenic countryside there are many cliffs that offer a wide range of rock climbing, from single-step sport routes to trails of varying intensity.

Climbing in Tuscany

Rock climbing available in Tuscany are very broad and varied. Around the city of Carrara there are cliffs that offer routes in most attempts bolted up to 250 m in length, while the cliffs of Pizzo D'uccello offers some great wall streets up to 550 m.

Between Viareggio and Lucca are a series of cliffs called The near Camaiore, which provide some powerful sports car routes. Many of these routes require climbing up steep gullies or through roofs protruding. Within other areas we find other sports locations in single step as Le Rocchette near Viareggio and Montecatini near Pistoia.
