From Sunday 25 March 2018 Pisa will enter officially in 2019. A three day event where the city, recalling the old Pisan calendar for which the first day of the year fell on 25 of March, is preparing to celebrate the "Pre-booking".
The program includes:
March 23 – a day at medieval market (demonstrations of Arts and crafts)
March 24 – Ceremony to mark 450 years of the "Gioco del Ponte" and Fireworks
March 25 – historical reenactments, race "Palio San Ranieri" and medieval dinners in the evening
