Pasticceria Ragghianti Paolo produces typical senese cakes and biscuits, is based in Chiusdino, Siena, in the Valle dell'Ombrone.

The company was founded in 1985, thanks to Paul that continuing the family tradition has dedicated himself to the rediscovery of the ancient Senese recipes which he then translated into very fine pastry, using only quality ingredients. The constant search for the genuineness of raw materials, combined with the Tuscan flavours and traditions create simple products, natural and sincere as the land they come from.

Paolo's desserts are created respecting the ancient techniques, made exclusively by hand with traditional methods. In addition to the great senese classics like:

  • Panforte, Siena's oldest cake, intended at one time to the nobles because prepared with expensive spices;
  • Ricciarelli, made with almond paste, soft texture and delicate flavor;
  • Cavallucci, aniseed-flavoured biscuits, perfect in combination with liqueur wines;
  • the fragrant Cantuccini biscuits with almonds with their unmistakable fragrance and flavour;

Pasticceria delight curious eaters with the original taste of almond biscuits made with chestnut flour and chili or cookies with red wine and with the inviting baked products such as ciaccino, typical Senese salted bread .
