"New year's day, the pitch of a rooster"

“Primo dell’anno, il passo di un gallo”, is the nice way of saying welcome to Tuscan days getting longer, albeit imperceptibly.

On January first, in fact, is a day that stretches slightly, just a step of a rooster.

We recently left behind the winter solstice, December 21 is scientifically the day of the year with the lowest number of daytime hours and with the longest night, even if its duration is very different depending on the latitude.

Although it's still a little early, you just have to wait the spring equinox to kick off the summer season and explore the beautiful region of Tuscany.
