From 12 to 14 July the medieval festival within the walls of the famous Tuscan village ends.
Between ancient crafts and medieval banquets, from 12 to 14 July in Monteriggioni returns to live the Middle Ages. Thetheme of the 2019 edition "The Woman in the Time of Dante": the female figure is at the center of the event, represented in its two mirror images, the idealized one described by the high poet and the real one of the time.
All the upcoming animation shows will represent this theme, ancient and at the same time never so topical. There will also be shows dedicated to children, music, dance, theatre, juggliade, falconry, illusionism, shows on stilts and with fire.
This year, therefore, the medieval atmosphere will come to life in Monteriggioni Castle, with more space at the medieval market and with areas completely dedicated to families, with games and narratives designed just for the little ones.
