THE CITY THAT HOSTED THE PASCOLI

Mass is positioned halfway between the Valley of the Frigido's river and the western part of the Apuan Alps.

The Duomo is the masterpiece of the city, enriched by the white marble façade and polychrome marble on the floor, the door and the interior finishes. Massa is also rich in Baroque and Renaissance buildings ordered by Cybo-Malaspina family, that as long he reigned in the city and home to Villa Pascoli, Italian youth residence of poet.
