March 17-18 March 2018 and 10-11 days held in Castelfranco di Sotto in the province of Pisa in the 7th Edition of the Marzuolo truffle festival and Cinta Pig.
The lower Valdarno, Valley of a thousand food resources, hosts a rather fruitful soil for truffles including the renowned white truffle of San Miniato. The menu of the Festival includes cinta pork paired with truffle marzuolo (truffle which takes its name from the month in which it is usually collected). A rich menu of dishes that cover typical Tuscan tradition Tuscan truffle appetizer, appetizers, noodles and truffle ravioli, pasta sauce, steak with truffle, cinta pig to the Rotisserie. The food stalls are set up as veritable restaurants at the headquarters of the Contrada di San Bartolomeo open on Saturday of the first weekend at 19 and 30 and Sunday for lunch at 12 and 30 and dinner, again at 19 and 30.
