Leonardo's botany

For a new science between Art and Nature

From September 13 to December 15 'The botany of Leonardo. For a new science between Art and Nature is the new exhibition of the Museum of Santa Maria Novella in Florence.

The exhibition starts from Leonardo's studies on the forms and structures of the plant world and then reflects cross-cutting on scientific evolution and ecological sustainability.

The ideation and development are entrusted to Stefano Mancuso (plant neurobiologist), Fritjof Capra (physical and systems theorist) and Valentino Markets (president of Aboca). In the route you can admire original sheets of Leonardo, royal botanicals and interactive installations to establish a direct relationship between man and plants.
