From 12 to 14 July, the 22nd edition of Jazz&Wine in Montalcino concludes, with concerts by Dee Dee Bridgewater, Roberto Gatto New Quartet and Flavio Boltro BBB Trio featuring Stefano Di Battista.
Against the backdrop of the Fortress, the event has always linked the great wine and jazz music, two intense pleasures celebrated in the iconic city of Brunello. Italian and international stars meet during this event that has now become one of the largest jazz festivals in Europe, born from the collaboration between the well-known Banfi winery, the Rubei family of Alexanderplatz in Rome and the City of Montalcino.
Dee DeeBridgewater's concert on Friday, July 12, with J'ai deux amours: the undisputed lady of jazz pays tribute to the career and life of Josephine Baker and also celebrates famous chansonniers of the time as Edith Piaf charles Trenet.
The 22nd edition of Jazz&Wine in Montalcino closes on Sunday 14 July with two other icons of jazz Flavio Boltro BBB Trio ft. Stefano Di Battista. Also on stage are Mauro Battisti on bass and Mattia Barbieri on drums.
