The Palazzo Aldobrandini del Papa is a charming home located in Piazza Madonna degli Aldobrandini in Florence, opposite the entrance of the Medici chapels.

The residence covers an area of 300 sqm on six total environments and is ideal for anyone wanting to experience a stay in a prestigious building within walking distance of major artistic destinations in the city.

The Palace belongs to the Aldobrandini family, known for centuries for brilliant careers in the fields of law, both in ecclesiastical circles. The Palace is the ' Pope ' because here lived Pope Clement VIII presumably when stopping to Florence.

The current building consisting of two bodies joined at an angle, unusual architecture for Florence, has been significantly renovated in the eighteenth century, coming to get its current appearance.

Doria Pamphilj Gallery hosts both individuals in luxurious apartments furnished in eighteenth-century style, and in line with the art and history of Florence, both exclusive groups up to 90 people for weddings, gala dinners, cultural events, photosets and much more.

The charming property consists of large entrance with closet; a large room overlooking the Medici Chapels, frescoed with "allegory of music" and decorated with large sofas, armchairs, chairs and collection of art books; a gallery, passageway connecting the Hall to the rest of the House entirely frescoed by Tommaso Gherardini and Lorenzo del Moro on the walls and ceilings with vegetation and galleries; a room of small size but with a large window that doubles as a studiolo, embellished with a lovely frescoed Vault.

The apartment comes complete with a large master bedroom (Alcova) where presumably slept Pope Clement VIII Aldobrandini, frescoed with paintings by Vincenzo Meucci and a stately double bed overhung by a ancient Golden canopy; master bath; a large kitchen space; guest bathroom that have been preserved on the floor in "bardiglio" hails from the era.
