THE HOUSE OF THE CRYSTAL, MADE IN TUSCANY
Colle Val d'Elsa is located in the heart of Tuscany, halfway between Volterra and Siena. The town overlooks the Tuscan landscape from its position castled on a hillock.
The first inhabitants of the area were the Etruscans, but the development of the town began in the middle ages with doctors. The via Francigena which passed through the area of Val d'Elsa made Hill a strategic place for the exchange of commodities.
Many points of interest that are worth visiting, like the Pieve di San Giovanni Battista, San Faustino and San Giovita which rises along with the Concattedrale di San Marziale. Hill is an art city known for being the birthplace of Arnolfo di Cambio (sculptor and architect, 1245) and Cennino Cennini (painter and writer, 1370), but mostly for being the home of Crystal in Italy.
