Climbing in Versilia

The cliffs and "vie ferrate" in the Apuan Alps

The instinct to climb upward, to reach the Summit involves more and more Italians! Increasingly, the climbers so every spare moment is good to find some rock or wall on which to train. Fortunately the beautiful Italian peninsula offers many climbing routes and/or cliffs where to practiceclimbing throughout the year.

For this type of sport Tuscany offers a lot and in particular are concerned the wild Alps. This chain is one of the destinations from all Italian climbers and hikers and beyond.

 

What are the best climbing slopes of the Apuan Alps?
 

Offers in Versilia are the cliffs and historic value of presenting medium and small walls of different exposures that allow you to make all the styles of climbing. Better to climb here in spring and autumn, magic spells because of the colours and the ideal climbing conditions.

Instead regarding the climbs to try those of Drilled, of About, Tam-Gallicani which offers a route of great beauty and ferrata del Monte Contrario, considered the most difficult and time consuming.

 

The event not to be missed
 

Moreover, from this year, will take place from 14 September to 16 September 2018, the first edition of the Camaiore Climbing & Trekking Festival, event dedicated entirely to the mountain and to those who love her intensely!
