We Leave Florence and go directly to Greve, the first small and charming cities we will be visiting during this magnificent tour.
After a brief look at the most interesting parts of the area, we continue towards Castellina where we visit the historic village and enjoy a good meal with wines of Chianti, and in particular Chianti Classico, the undisputed protagonist of this area of production.
Before returning to Florence there will be an opportunity to continue in Radda in Chianti to visit a village as beautiful as it is small. Radda, along with Gaiole and Castellina was one of the so-called 3 Districts (bulwarks) of ancient Lega del Chianti, an institution created by the Florentine Republic to defend the southern borders of its territory as situated not very far from Siena, the last stronghold of the powerful independent not still controlled Florence.
