Castel San Niccolò

THE VILLAGE OF STONE

Just outside the village in Strada in Casentino, takes the Biennial dedicated to processing a stone where the accomplishments of local stonemasons, master craftsmen skilled in material processing in full compliance traditions. In addition to this tradition linked to the territory, are given space to exhibitors.

 

Traditions and Typical products

In Meadow road, part of the municipality, close to Castel San Niccolò you have a conspicuous production of oil extracted in oil mills in the area. A product of the Tuscan tradition to be enjoyed on toasted bread, slices of toasted Tuscan bread seasoned with oil and salt.
