Located near the unique landscape from Lucca to Parma, Casola is positioned in a strategic place of Apuane.

Its ancient medieval past, evidenced by the XV century castle there are traces today, only through the Tower overlooking the town.

Among the main points of interest is the Museo dell'alta valle dell'Aulella. A place that tells the history of the village through the remains from the Paleolithic through the history of the place.
