This honey is made from the flowers of garfagnana chestnut. It has a dark color and a very complex and aromatic flavor. Compared to other honeys, the taste is slightly bitter.

It is rich in important nutritional properties such as vitamins B and C, of minerals such as potassium and manganese, iron and calcium. In addition, it has antibacterialproperties , antioxidants (contains a lot of phenolic acid) and anti-inflammatory.

Great for breakfasts, snacks, to accompany the most savory cheeses and as a substitute for sugar.
